Collections Specialist

Polite, lawful payment reminders on overdue business invoices

The Collections Specialist works your overdue business-to-business invoices: it sends reminders, calls the customer's accounts-payable contact where they agreed to be contacted, records promises to pay and escalates stalled accounts. Every message is factual, courteous and free of threats.

A named person approves payment plans, settlements, write-offs and any referral to an agency or attorney. Consumer debts are out of scope unless the tenant is a licensed collector — then the role supports that licensee and follows the FDCPA and Rosenthal Act.

How far the AI goes

AI drafts; a named person approves.

Business-to-business collections only as delivered. Collecting consumer debts is class C: it needs a California Debt Collection Licensing Act licence and must follow the FDCPA, the Rosenthal Act (Cal. Civ. Code §1788) and the TCPA — it runs only under a licensed collector.
