Data Scientist / ML
Forecasts and models, documented and tested, with humans making the decisions
The Data Scientist builds forecasting, segmentation and prediction models, documents their assumptions and limits, tests them for accuracy and bias, and monitors them after deployment.
A named person approves each model for use. Models never make decisions about credit, employment or housing on their own, and the AI Governance Officer reviews any consequential use.
AI drafts; a named person approves.
Class C where a model makes or substantially drives decisions about credit, employment or housing: those uses require bias testing, notices and human review under ECOA, FCRA, Title VII/FEHA, the Colorado AI Act and California automated-decision rules, and a named human decides.
